I Told You So
Just for the record. The Bush Administration has officially ended it's hunt for WMD in Iraq.

My question is this.... before the invasion liberals said that Iraq did not pose an imminent threat to the United States and therefore we should not invade. Bushies said Iraq had WMD and that there was a link between Saddam and 9/11.Now that both of these are discredited.... are we liberals allowed to say... "I told you so?"
Liberals also claimed that invading Iraq would lead to civil war between Sunni's, Kurds and Shiites in Iraq. With the elections fast approaching it appears that the liberals were right again.Are we now allowed to say.... "I told you so?"
The Bush Administration claimed that massive tax cuts would stimulate the economy and would not lead to massive deficits. Liberals claimed that massive tax cuts (for the rich) would not help the economy (I mean really... how many more lattes can Brittany Spears buy and how is that supposed to stimulate the economy?) and that these cuts would lead to massive deficits which would in turn lead to higher interest rates... etc. etc. Now that it's clear that the tax cuts did not stimulate the economy and we are in fact running record budget deficits and interest rates are beginning to climb.... are we liberals allowed to say.... "I told you so?"
Why is it that Democrats are now wondering "what went wrong?" Nothing went wrong for them except losing an election for the second time. Clearly the first time the election was stolen, and the second time is looking more like the same.... rather than all the hand wringing and crying and trying to move to the center.... shouldn't the Democrats just sit back, relax and say.....
"I told you so?"
