Former Arizona Cardinal Turn U.S. Army Ranger: Hero or Poster Boy Patsy
Pat Tillman was killed in action in Afghanistan. At first the Army led the American public to believe that Tillman died at the hands of Taliban-Al Qaeda fighters while trying to protect members of his unit. Several weeks later they revealed that Tillman actually was killed by friendly fire. The problem with this is that the Army knew almost immediately that Tillman was killed by friendly fire yet hid the truth to exploit his celebrity in a nationally televised memorial service in an attempt to persuade more young Americans to "volunteer" their lives for Bush's imperial ambitions. Is this the way we treat our "Heroes?" Take off the blinders red-staters, George Bush will only kill your kid and you will not even know why.
