The Moral of the "Joe the Plumber" Story?
That John McCain, Sarah Palin, and the Republican Party will fight tooth and nail for all the plumbers out there who earn more than $250,000 a year.
They will fight to make sure that each and every plumber earning a quarter of a million dollars a year doesn't have to pay an extra 3% in taxes.
Hell they'll make that the centerpiece of their final make or break debate.
If only all my friends in Law School had learned that plumbers make $250,000 a year we could have saved ourselves all those years of school and just gotten our plumbers license. And we wouldn't have $100,000 a year in student loans to pay back.
I'm in the wrong business.
